Eng. Mohammed Khalil,PMP,PMI-RMP
Eng. Mohammed Khalil is a senior corporate developer has over than 30 years of experience in the fields of Project Management, Human Resource Development and Training.
Mr. Khalil got his B.Sc. in Electrical Power and Machine Engineering in 1976. He has been awarded the Project Management Professional “PMP” Certificate from the Project Management Institute “PMI”, Pennsylvania, USA in 2001. He is a charter member and BOD member of PMI MENA Chapter since October 1998. He has been a member of the International Committee assigned by PMI for verifying the translation of the Guide to Project Management Body of Knowledge ® into Arabic language.
Mr. Khalil practical experience includes his participation in executing a number of national projects in Egypt such as New Salheia project for reclaiming and cultivating 56,000 feddans of the desert land on Cairo Ismailia desert road from 1981 to 1984, installing the medium voltage network required for feeding the industrial zone in Sadat city on Cairo Alexandria desert road with electrical power from 1984 to 1986.
In the field of training and human resource development, Mr. Khalil worked as a lecturer in Aramco project conducted by the American University in Cairo during 1977, 1978. He also worked as the maintenance training programs’ supervisor of the water desalination plants in K.S.A from 1987 to 1997 where he participated in planning and executing the Saudization programs. He is a lecturer of Project Management in a number of Reputable institutions in Egypt such as the American University "Engineering Services Department", Consulting Engineering Canter, PMI MENA Chapter, Information Technology Institute "ITI', and PROMASTAR. Mr. Khalil has conducted a number of in house and public project management courses in Egypt, KSA, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan and Tunisia. He had been involved in the Arab Contractors Human Resource Development from 1997 to 2005.
Recently, in 2005 he led a multinational team for developing a Project Management Methodology and producing a Project Management Manual based on PMI standards for Dubai Electrical & Water Authority DEWA
