The PMI® Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)® is to create greater awareness of the Business Analysis profession by defining what is business analysis and working towards recognition of the value of the business analyst role in the organization. BA can help the organization to gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace and enable the organization to succeed. Business Analysis is the practice of enabling change in an organizational context, by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders. The set of tasks and techniques that are used to perform business analysis 

  • Understanding why the organization exist
  • Understanding how organizations function to accomplish their purposes
  • Defining the capabilities an organization requires to provide products and services to external stakeholders.
  • Determining the courses of action that an organization has to undertake to achieve those goals and objectives
  • Giving best practices in business analysis and prepare Participants to take the Certified the PMI®Professional in Business Analysis(PMI-PBA)®

Any person who performs business analysis activities, no matter what their job title or organizational role may be. Business analysis practitioners also include business systems analysts, systems analysts, requirements engineers, process analysts, product managers, product owners, enterprise analysts, business architects, management consultants, and those who also perform related disciplines such as project management, software development, quality assurance, and interaction design.
